LEAP provides transformational education, entrepreneurial training, and mentorship through both in-prison and post-release programming. LEAP also provides transitional housing based on availability.

That belief is supported by the provision of culturally competent, strength-based substance abuse prevention programming for Alaskans of all ages.

The Substance Abuse Felony Punishment Facility (SAFP) is an intensive six-month therapeutic community program for people who are sentenced by a judge as a condition of community supervision or as a modification of parole/community supervision.

Platform to Employment Re-Entry is a statewide pilot program to reduce
unemployment and recidivism rates among the reentry population. The program
is modeled after the nationally recognized Platform to Employment (P2E)
program which was designed to reconnect the long-term unemployed with the
workforce.
Platform to Employment Re-Entry provides formerly incarcerated individuals
with work readiness and career development training. The core of the training
focuses on life skills and professional development training to enhance

The VT Women's Mentoring Program matches criminal justice-involved women with volunteer women mentors to assist the reentry process both pre-release and post-release. Prospective mentors are trained 3 times a year for 5 weeks. Mentees and mentors meet monthly and for a minimum of one year after match, attend pro-social activities together and receive continuous support and continuing education from program staff. Mentors attend monthly mentor support group meetings.

Evolution Reentry Services is dedicated to the development, change, advancement, growth, rise, & progress of the criminal justice system. They provide free support services to women and their families who are justice impacted by helping rebuild lives through transparency, programs and support. The Programs that Evolution Reentry Services provides are unique and unduplicated throughout the country. 

The mission of Women With A Vision is to improve the lives of marginalized women, their families, and communities by addressing the social conditions that hinder their health and well-being. We accomplish this through relentless advocacy, health education, supportive services, and community-based participatory research.

The Decatur Correctional Center's innovative Reunification Program allows women who meet certain eligibility requirements to live together on a separate housing unit where they visit with their children in a more home-type environment. The housing unit dedicated to this program has been decorated with children in mind. A variety of toys and educational materials are available for children of all ages. This environment allows the women to get more involved in interacting with their children than what is possible in the visiting room.

Parent and Child Together (PACT) Program, a federally funded venture between the Illinois Department of Corrections, the Women's Treatment Center in Chicago and Companions Journeying Together, Inc. These entities have collaborated to offer mothers an opportunity to foster a relationship with their children during their imprisonment. The PACT Program offers families a chance to have visual contact through video conferencing technology.

The Moms and Babies program allows qualified mothers to keep their newborn babies with them in prison for a specific amount of time. It is the mission of the Decatur Correctional Center to provide a managed system of support and services for the mother in order to establish and strengthen the relationship with her children. During the first 5 years not a single participant in the program has returned to prison. Child development aids help each mother in applying for food stamps, medical insurance and other assistance.
