Women's Health Education and Promotion

The mission of Women With A Vision is to improve the lives of marginalized women, their families, and communities by addressing the social conditions that hinder their health and well-being. We accomplish this through relentless advocacy, health education, supportive services, and community-based participatory research. As a key tenet of our organizational philosophy, WWAV employs outreach workers that are indigenous to the community they serve and who are committed to providing HIV/AIDS prevention education, counseling and testing services, substance abuse resources, health fairs, focus groups, and education on a range of women’s health needs, including reproductive and sexual health, cervical and breast cancer, and safer sex practices.
