Domestic Violence Services

The Center for Women in Transition's mission is to respond to, reduce, and prevent domestic and sexual violence against women. This mission will be achieved through education, collaboration, and advocacy, with crisis and supportive services to victims and survivors. Services include: a 24-hour crisis line, emergency shelter, transitional housing, sexual assault therapy, therapy for children who have witnessed domestic violence, Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner program (SANE), domestic violence case management, education and support groups, Wardrobe for Work, and legal advocacy. All services are confidential and free of charge.

Women with domestic violence and sexual abuse issues.

Program Capacity

Total number served yearly is more than 1,500. Emergency shelter capacity is 20; more than 100 served in the shelter yearly.
