Welcome to the National VOD Facilitator Training
Victim Offender Dialogue (VOD) Is a post-conviction, victim-initiated and victim-led process. Offender participation is voluntary. The Dialogue agenda is determined by the victim and may include questions about the crime or the impact of the offense on the victim.
National VOD Facilitator Training
The National Institute of Corrections offers a National training program for persons interested in facilitating VODs. Students must meet certain qualifications and be referred by a state corrections program. Program Administrators who are interested in referring students to this training should contact Scott Richards, NIC Correctional Program Specialist at s1richards@bop.gov
