letterThe affirmation letter (signed by the AGENCY'S highest authority, i.e., Executive, Secretary, CEO) is a required component of the application and confirms your request for consideration.  This letter serves as assurance that the agency agrees to participate fully in the Staffing Analysis Implementation Project and understands that this project will be administered by the National Institute of Corrections (NIC). Download the template here, print it out on agency letterhead, and have the AGENCY EXECUTIVE/CEO) sign it. Then upload the completed document below.

Commitment and Capacity to Implement the Staffing Analysis

Indicate the driving factors behind your agency’s decision to implement the staffing analysis including demonstrated efforts by your agency to date.
Describe specific policies, practices, and procedures that currently exist within your agency to support staffing analysis.
Indicate any changes in legislation, administrative rules/regulations, or policy at the county, city or state-level that support your agency’s efforts.
Describe the innovations or outcomes your agency hopes to achieve as a result of this project.
Indicate if you have the capacity to designate 5 staff members to become part of your agency’s Staffing Analysis Implementation Team.
Check to indicate that team members will have access to the technology needed to participate in virtual training and coaching sessions.
Provide specific detail about your agency’s ability to complete the virtual training including your agency’s plan to provide personnel with the required technology (computer and web-cam for each participant).
